The QFE Phase 2 Phonics Workbook has been carefully designed to help children build the essential foundations needed for early reading and writing. However, this structure is designed as a guide rather than a strict timetable.
Every child learns at their own pace, and it is completely fine to slow down, repeat sections, or spend longer on particular sounds if needed.

• revisit earlier sounds regularly for extra consolidation
