Terms and Conditions

Overview

These terms explain how bookings, attendance, digital resources, and service updates are managed at Quality First Education.

They are intended to give families clear expectations before any purchase is made, so that practical arrangements are understood from the outset.

Programmes & enrolment

Our programmes are delivered online and spaces are kept limited so that teaching remains focused, purposeful, and responsive.

• All programmes are delivered online.
• Places are limited and allocated on a first-come basis.
• Enrolment is confirmed once payment is received.
• Programmes are purchased as complete programmes rather than as individual lessons.
• Session details, materials, and updates are shared through the relevant family dashboard area where applicable.

Attendance

Consistent attendance helps children benefit fully from the structure and progression of a programme.

• Parents are responsible for ensuring children attend sessions on time.
• Missed sessions are not guaranteed to be rescheduled.
• Where a session is missed, programme progression continues in line with the wider group or published module structure.

Teaching standards

All teachers are qualified teachers, and safeguarding checks, including DBS checks where required, are completed before teaching begins.

Refunds

Refund arrangements are designed to be clear and fair while recognising the preparation and limited spaces attached to live teaching.

• Before the point 48 hours before the scheduled programme start, a cancellation or refund request continues to be considered under the existing pre-start review.
• From exactly 48 hours before the scheduled programme start, programme cancellations and refunds are not available, subject to applicable statutory rights.
• The included digital programme workbook becomes available from the same 48-hour point.
• Programmes remain non-refundable once they have started, subject to applicable statutory rights.

Digital resources

Digital resources are designed for use within the purchasing family home and are protected accordingly.

• Standalone digital workbooks are accessed through My resources and are not delayed by the programme workbook release rule.
• Standalone digital downloads are non-refundable once access begins, subject to applicable statutory rights.
• A workbook included with a live programme becomes downloadable exactly 48 hours before that programme's scheduled start.
• Resources are for personal home use only.
• Redistribution, resale, or sharing is strictly prohibited.

Phonics assessments and consultations

Phonics assessments and other consultations are separate appointment purchases. The programme workbook release and programme 48-hour cancellation rule do not apply to those appointments.

Any applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

Updates to these programme terms

The updated programme cutoff applies to programme purchases made after these terms are published. Earlier programme purchases remain subject to the terms presented when they were purchased, unless applicable law or a later written agreement requires otherwise.

Behaviour expectations

A respectful learning environment helps all children learn well.

• All learners are expected to behave respectfully during sessions.
• Disruptive behaviour may result in removal from sessions.

Changes to services

Quality First Education reserves the right to adjust schedules, update programme content, and make improvements where necessary.

Where changes affect active families directly, reasonable efforts will be made to communicate them clearly and in good time.
