Refund Policy

Overview

We aim to be clear about refunds before any booking or purchase is made.

Because programmes involve planning, reserved places and live teaching time, while standalone digital resources and assessments are separate purchases, different rules apply to each type of purchase.

Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights that apply to your purchase.

Programmes

Programme places are limited and reserved specifically for the enrolling family once payment has been received. Programmes are purchased as complete programmes rather than as individual lessons.

• Before the point 48 hours before the scheduled programme start, cancellation or refund requests continue to be considered under the existing pre-start review, including the timing of the request and whether the place can reasonably be reallocated.
• From exactly 48 hours before the scheduled programme start, programme cancellations and refunds are not available, subject to applicable statutory rights.
• The included digital programme workbook becomes available from the same 48-hour point.
• Programmes remain non-refundable once they have started, subject to applicable statutory rights.

Standalone digital downloads

Standalone digital workbooks are separate from workbooks included with a live programme. They are made available immediately or shortly after purchase in My resources, which means digital access begins without delay.

• Standalone digital downloads are non-refundable once access begins, subject to applicable statutory rights.
• The programme 48-hour rule does not delay a separately purchased standalone workbook.

Phonics assessments and consultations

A phonics assessment or other consultation is a separate appointment purchase. The programme workbook release and programme 48-hour cancellation rule do not apply to that appointment.

Please contact QFE as early as possible if you need help with an assessment or consultation booking. Any applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

When the updated programme rule applies

The updated programme cutoff applies to programme purchases made after these terms are published. Earlier programme purchases remain subject to the terms presented when they were purchased, unless applicable law or a later written agreement requires otherwise.

Exceptional circumstances

In rare cases, Quality First Education may review situations individually.

Where a family needs support in unusual circumstances, we will always aim to communicate clearly and consider the situation with care.
