Families We Support

Families We Support

A structured, supportive learning environment designed to meet children where they are.

At QFE, we understand that every child’s learning journey looks different.

Some children thrive online.

Some need time to build confidence.

Some prefer independent learning before stepping into structured sessions.

All of this is valid.

That is why QFE offers both live teaching and structured downloadable workbooks — allowing families to choose what works best for their child.

G

Global Families

Consistent, high-quality education — wherever you are in the world.

QFE supports families across the world who are looking for a structured, reliable, and high-quality learning experience.

  • continuity in learning
  • stability during transitions
  • a clear pathway regardless of where a child lives

Because our curriculum is developmental rather than tied to a single system, it allows children to progress based on understanding — not location.

Children can access lessons from anywhere, while still following a structured and intentional programme.

H

Home-Educated Learners

Structured support without removing flexibility.

QFE is particularly suited to families who are home educating and want structure without pressure.

  • core skills (reading, writing, maths)
  • clear progression
  • developmental learning
  • calm, focused sessions

Sessions are intentionally short and purposeful

  • most lessons are 45–50 minutes
  • phonics sessions are 25 minutes

This allows children to build strong foundations without becoming overwhelmed.

Beyond lessons, families have the flexibility to

  • explore interests
  • learn through real-life experiences
  • create a balanced daily routine

QFE provides the structure — families shape the rest.

S

SEND Support

A calm, structured approach for children who need something different.

With experience as a SENDCo, I understand that some children require a different approach to learning.

  • need a gentler pace
  • struggle with confidence
  • feel overwhelmed in traditional environments
  • require clear, structured teaching

Our sessions are

  • calm and predictable
  • carefully structured
  • focused on understanding
  • free from unnecessary pressure

Children are not rushed or compared.

They are supported, guided, and given the time they need to succeed.

Choosing the Right Approach

Choosing the Right Approach for Your Child

Not every child needs to learn in the same way — and that is okay.

While many children benefit from live online sessions, this is not the right starting point for everyone.

  • may feel more comfortable learning independently
  • may need time to build confidence before joining live sessions
  • may prefer working at their own pace

For this reason, QFE also offers structured downloadable workbooks.

Digital learning can provide

  • the same clear, structured approach
  • carefully sequenced learning
  • independent practice opportunities
  • flexibility for families

Parents are encouraged to choose the approach that best suits their child. There is no expectation that every child must attend live sessions.

Guidance for Parents

A flexible pathway with thoughtful support

Choosing the right format is part of helping a child feel secure, capable, and ready to learn.

If you are unsure whether live sessions are right for your child, consider:

  • your child’s confidence level
  • their ability to focus in an online setting
  • whether they benefit from guided teaching or independent work

Some children move between both:

  • starting with downloadable workbooks
  • then progressing into live sessions
  • or using both alongside each other

This flexibility is intentional.

Because the goal is not to fit the child into a system — it is to provide the right support at the right time.

At QFE, there is no single “right” way to learn.

There is only the way that works for your child.
